I'm sorry I'm not totally sure what you're asking. I have selected Pictorial / Combination Logo and Character Logo as being my preference, so yes I definitely want some pictorial element to the logo. Is this what you mean by artwork? Certainly a logo with a mushroom mascot would be considered. Let me know if I haven't answered your question - thanks!

Hi everyone, thankyou so much for your designs. Your initial submissions have helped me identify the gaps in my brief - I have made updates and clarifications, I hope you find it helpful.

Most genuine designs have been good at expressing freshness. But many of these designs only focus on freshness with the result that it looks like a logo for a greengrocer. Some focus on vegetables that are 'growing' but this often makes it look like the logo for a seed company. Some have kitchen like elements such as forks and spoons but that makes it look like a vegan food review site.

The better designs are incorporating elements that clearly indicate that this is a foodblog.

The best designs are picking up on the playful mockery of being a terrible vegan. And this really sets them apart.

One small note, some designs are including characters. I am male so if your design has a gendered character then a male character will probably work best.

Thanks for your time and I'm looking forward to the next few days. I'll respond to your submissions as quickly as I can. Cheers.

Thanks everyone, some great decisions came out of that process. I appreciate the time and effort many of you put in to having discussions with me about the brief and revising your designs based on my feedback. I will consider the entries over the weekend and make the decision by Monday. I know some of you were working on revisions, note that you can still submit revisions after the deadline - the details on how to do it are here https://www.designcrowd.com/help/article/can-i-still-submit-designs-after-the-contest-deadline-passes
