It would be good if this contest is guarantee

This is our first time trying this service out, so we're a little tentative. I'd like to guarantee it, but then apparently we lose our money back guarantee. Is this generally not an issue on here?

Yes, agreed other post has designers submitting left and right they all have the "Guaranteed Payment" icon lit. You have a neat idea going it would be a shame for it to be ignored.

This project sounds great and original.
With a hand drawn logo, there is potentially alot of work involved.
Sketching, scanning, refining etc and repeat.
It's not something you can just bang out on a graphics program
and then slap on some predictable type below a cliche meaningless decorative icon (pretty common around here).
Also, with revisions you have to redraw it again and again which can be very time consuming. You may decide
that the eagle needs more claws or less feathers or a different posture and so on.
Would be good if this was guaranteed.

Are you sure you want it to be hand drawn? As per my experience and your requirements of 2 colour design, a bold, musculine vector image would be better.
