Junior Golfer Needs Brand Logo

This is what Matt Pawly Golf or MP Golf or am open to suggestions was looking for in their logo design

He is a typical 8 year old care free and whimsical. I lacked graphical skills when creating his current "logo" and used a online service with the templates they provided. He like the fiery orange letters alot and the aqua background.

Would also like to be able to incorporate this design into favicon, mobile bookmarks and mobile icons.
