New film production company needs a logo that reflects its dark creative intentions

This is what Dark Horse Films was looking for in their logo design

We need a logo for a start up Film Production Company called 'Dark Horse Films'. We will specialise in lower budget genre films, especially thriller and horror films.

We want a logo that shows that dark creative side, edgy, not part of the mainstream movie types. This logo will also be included in a 15 second intro video that will be shown at the start of each film. The colour scheme should be dark, with a deep red for the business name, but maybe another for 'films' (grey/white) at the end and can be in a much smaller font.

I have attached a few stock images that portray the kind of look that shows the style I am looking for, and a couple of my terrible attempts at creating my own logo. Read more
