Logo Design for TV Station in Jamaica

This is what CVM TV or CVM Television and sub brands ie: CVM sports etc was looking for in their logo design

CVM TV in Jamaica is national, free to air broadcaster on this small Caribbean island. www.cvmtv.com
CVM is derived from "no longer relevant" business names. However the letters CVM have a recognised brand in Jamaica.
The smaller of Jamaica's 2 stations CVM is known for its news and current affairs programs.
It is a fact that media in Jamaica has been firmly stuck in the past and has not yet matured into the corporate world.
We need a new, bold, strong logo to clearly identify the brand.
