Centro Bek logo - new center for family support and assistance

This is what Centro Bek (more prominent) Cultura, Salud y Familia (less prominently) was looking for in their logo design

We are a Professional group of people starting a center to assist and support families and individuals with their life balance and process in the context of our contemporary society/world. We focus on health, education and cultural change. The name of the center is ´´Bek´´ which is the Mayan name for the tree Ehretia tinifolia- it is a medicinal tree and important in local culture. The tree symbolizes strength, growth, nature, stability, balance, a place of comfort and protection. The tree is large with generous foliage and this needs to be portrayed. The tree is not a character, it hosts/protects the family. The family is a couple with a five year old and a baby. I´m including a very rough sketch of what is on my mind. This could be fixed up professionally or we are open to better ideas. The idea is that the family is at the center of society which are somehow alluded to graphically in the tree´s foliage. “Bek” should be more prominent than Centro which could be more subdued or smal… Read more
