Lake Quest

This is what Lake Quest was looking for in their logo design

I don't mind the logo that a friend made but its a bit to childish.. I'm looking for something more professional and still fun. Maybe clean it up somehow.
I'm open to a different ideas as well.

This is a logo for a popular community event I do every year. I'm a realtor that specializes in lake front homes in Florida.. I use this event to market myself. This event is a family friendly scavenger hunt via boat on our chain of lakes.
