Established in 1949, the Blind Community Center of San Diego's mission is to enrich the lives of blind and visually impaired adults by preparing them for a normal, active life in a society that is principally sighted by encouraging independence.
Located in Balboa Park in San Diego, California, we are a nonprofit that gives blind and visually impaired people in our community an opportunity to socialize and interact. We help members build skills, confidence, and self-esteem through our various social, recreational, and educational activities.
We need a fresh logo. This will be the foundation of our rebranding. We had an ad done on Design Crowd that we love. We would like the logo to have eye popping with color but also translate well to black and white, which is best for visually impaired individuals to see. We want the design to reflect a professional and lively organization that loves to serve our members.
