The Grande

This is what The Grande was looking for in their logo design

We need a logo design for a small hotel located beside a forest (of eucalyptus and other native Australian trees). The hotel is a 2-storey 1920's cement bungalow with large verandahs and forest views. The walls are rendered beige with white wooden trimmings and the corrugated iron roof is dark grey. The surrounding garden has abundant green plantings, small pale pebble walkways and stone wall terraces and stairs leading down a sharp slope to a babbling brook. It's sunny and warm here in the summer but quite cold in the winter. However the area is well-frequented all year round by people seeking the mineral spas, relaxation and repose. Keen visitors to the hotel are those seeking girl's weekends away or romantic escapes, but there is also good interest from those having small weddings and from the conference market.
