This is what Empathy was looking for in their logo design

My son is a young and upcoming Starcraft gamer / player who is on his way to playing professionally and needing to attract corporate sponsors and team recognition. As a result he needs to have his own branding 'look and feel'; one that projects a look of professionalism and the level of integrity that he exemplifies.

His gaming name / persona is 'Empathy'. We would be open to any suggestions, looks or ideas that are presented. You pick the color scheme however I will say that we are partial blues, purples, whites, blacks, and metallics. Surprise us. We will consider all ideas.

However the design does need to work equally as well on a dark background, a white background, and in black and white/grey scale versions. It also needs to be able to work well in different formats, i.e. on the website, Facebook cover, YouTube, t-shirts and other items, letterhead, etc.
