Auturgy needs a corporate image for the profession services / consultancy sector

This is what (None provided) was looking for in their logo design

I need a logo for a startup company in Canberra. We are a boutique management consultancy, needing a professional and striking log to form the basis of our corporate visual identity.

The company name - Auturgy - is an old english word meaning "self-action; independent activity".
This describes us pretty well. Self-motivated, proactive, yet conservative and a little bit old-school.
We all surf and snowboard (not that I want that overtly reflected in the logo, but it gives an idea of the type of people we are).

I don't want to be too prescriptive with the brief (hopefully I've given enough to start you off) as I don't want to constrain your innovation.
