We need a logo design, and style guide, for a network that brings together people in the Midwest region of Western Australia who work, volunteer or have an interest in the early childhood development field. The aim of the group is to work together as a collective with the vision that Children are safe, healthy, capable and optimistic. Its priorities are to build a stronger network of members, and to communicate with parents about the importance of the early years (aged 0 to 8) on a child's developing brain. Positive and negative experiences in these critical early years have immediate and lifelong outcomes.
Target Market(s)
early years service providers
parents/carers (who the network seeks to support to raise their young children)
communities (to raise awareness of the critical early years for brain development)

Requirements
Must have
- Designs that use symbolic images and colours. For example, round images to represent network, nurturing, community, coming together around the child, Aboriginal inclusive. A depiction of complex pathways would represent a healthy brain, and a network. Look and feel is fun, imagination and play based learning, young with use of vibrant and symbolic colours and designs. Designs must work at a small size; and as a black and white version. Not formal or too informal to appeal to professionals in the children's industry and also families.

Nice to have
- See example logos that reflect the type of look and feel in the attached word document at the end.

Should not have
- Too obvious representations and depictions.
