Logo Design Brief
Based in Scotland (UK) we are a small Community Interest Company (CIC) that design & supply unique custom tartan products for the retail market worldwide, underpinned by our commitment to service excellence and high quality range of products, we create jobs for the most vulnerable in society.
We need a classy Logo design that will characterize and define our exciting new "Silver Stag" brand.
Our fashion products include scarves, kilts, hats and bags as well as jewellery.
We are looking to develop a distinct brand for our new products and need a logo that will communicate quality and trust, whilst maintaining an innovative sleek simplicity.
The final design should be grey scale/monochrome white on black and incorporate a representation of a "Stag", perhaps the head with antlers or full-body.
Include stylish text: "Silver Stag of Scotland" or "Scottish Silver Stag".
A back-story of the "Silver Stag" has been included as well as some well-known designs to help fuel your imagination.

Thank you everyone for your contributions. Your time and effort is greatly appreciated!
We have been conducting various polls on the designs submitted and using this feedback in the process of choosing which designs stay in the competition.
As per the brief, we are looking for a stylish design which is unique and recognizable which will translate well on embroidery.
A lot of designs have been eliminated because we feel they have roots from images sourced from stock graphics, they won't translate well onto embroidery or the style is not quite what we are aiming for as a business.
We are in the final stages of choosing a design and have a short-list of 8 designs which we will discuss, do mock-ups and through consensus come to our decision.
It has been a pleasure to see all of your creativity and interpretations. I hope you have also enjoyed this process.
For those that were unsuccessful, we wish you the best of luck in future competitions.
