Very exciting project! I only saw this today, though. Would you mind extending the deadline a few days? That is, if you respond well to these logos that I've made. (Just don't mind the colors on the full size images, though. They're JPG files and the site seems to render them differently. I use PNG files now. The thumbnails are color-accurate, though.)

I didn't see your project on time. I Have three imaginative concepts you might be interested in. I wouldn't waste your time if didn't think these logo didn't have a chance of winning.

Generalities like :

Anything else? Wow - factor or Evrika - factor .
For it must have clearly in mind other details .
A logo designer is a tool to create depending on the customer, like pencil write the thoughts you hold in your hand.
Otherwise it is a waste of time for all parties :)
