Logo Design Brief

We sell high end raw food ingredients. Our clients range from high end gourmet stores to high end Supermarkets, Michelin star chefs and private chefs. Our first products will be the World's best olive oils, expanding to vanilla by the end of the year.

'Riviera Gourmet' is one of a selection of companies we own with 'Riviera' as the first part of the company. We also have Riviera SOS, www.rivierasos.com, which sells high end raw food ingredients only to Super yachts.
I would like the 'R' of Riviera to be the focal point of the logo as this will be used for all of our companies going forward. In fact, all logos will have the same font and style. The only difference will be the actual second name of the company, so please take this into account. You are creating not just a logo, but an 'R' that will be part of our branding. It should be clean, fresh and simple, but with an element of design. High end is also an important factor. Emblems or Letter marks feel the right way to show off the R, but I am open to all options.
The winner will be asked to also design the new Riviera SOS logo straight after. You can check out the old website to see the present logo that we also need to change.
As we are in the process of creating our website right now, we need the colour codes for the green in the logo. The green in the logo needs to be a green that can easily be used for web and print. It should be a mature green.

Our company colours are green and black. I have attached some ideas I designed that just are not right and also the present Riviera SOS logo.

To be clear - This request is for a company called 'Riviera Gourmet'. The winner will also be asked to do the Riviera SOS logo straight after.
