Hi Designers!
We would like to tap into your creativity to develop a logo for the Grand Reserve Inn.
We are building the Grand Reserve Inn on a 40-acre vineyard in Shenandoah Valley in Plymouth, California. It is surrounded by picturesque views of mountains and rows of Zinfandel & Barbera grapes as far as the eye can see. This is Amador Wine Country, and there are 40 local award-winning wineries just a short distance from the Grand Reserve Inn. That is how we developed the name. . .”Grand Reserve” meaning finest wine.
Our vision is to achieve a reputation as the choice destination in Amador Wine Country for the discerning leisure and business traveler that enjoys luxury. We are creating a unique upscale lodging experience that does not exist in Plymouth today. The Grand Reserve Inn is designed to attract affluent travelers that seek 5-star attentive service & spacious accommodations including luxury décor, high quality amenities, activities and fine wine & dining. We also see Wine Enthusiasts, Wine Club Members from local wineries, Young Professionals Before Kids, and Empty Nesters as great target markets.
The Grand Reserve Inn is a new, elegant 13,000 square foot Bed & Breakfast inn with five 1,000 square foot luxury guest suites, as well as a pool, bocci & shuffleboard courts, and a 1,600 square foot Innkeeper residence. It offers a spacious design and privacy to incent tourists to visit and stay longer in Amador Wine Country, not just for a weekend. It will also be a choice spot for weddings and events.
When you think of the Grand Reserve Inn, think “casual elegance.” To give you an idea of some other properties that would represent casual elegance, take a look online at Poetry Inn in Napa, CA or Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur, CA. We would like you to use the color “purple” in the logo. It is the color of grapes and has long been associated with royalty and luxury. We would also like you to use the “green” shown in the logo in the Wilderotter Vineyard website link below since the Grand Reserve Inn falls under the Wilderotter Vineyard Estate umbrella. This gives us the opportunity to tie the businesses together by color but allows us to have different logos & names. The businesses are not located on the same property.

I also uploaded an example of the Wilderotter Vineyard logo so you can see the green color.
I hope you found this background helpful. Please let me know if I can answer any additional questions you may have. I am excited to see your designs.
Good luck!
Colleen
