I think the clock/timer motif is a good one to include. Here''s an image of an alarm clock that I think is a little more interesting than what some of the submissions have. Some of the designs are too abstract: the message needs to be "simple, easy to use, effective" so the logo has to embody that. Also, I suggest the logo is more horizontal than vertical so it can be used in a banner, like on my site.
