Logo Design Brief
I need a logo design for a new company based in Australia called Energy Star Roof Paint.
The company will be selling the application of heat reflective roof paint. The paint reflects 50% of solar energy as both visible light and infrared light.
This results in reduced cooling costs of up to 50%, which is a massive saving on electricity costs.
This solution is great for the environment. And has numerous certifications backing it. It helps reduce smog, CO2 emissions and urban heat (the heating up and storing of heat in the buildings of a city).
Updates
Hi,
I have updated my brief to include additional wording on what my client requires, which has come up from him viewing the current designs.
He wants some imagery which shows the hot rays of the sun being reflected off a cool surface.
I have added some rough sketchs to help. Use these as a guide only. Use the colours as a guide only.
I now require hot colour for sun's ray, cool colour for surface, and if possible green colour to show environmentally friendly.
Thanks again for your creative efforts.
Regards,
Tim

Requirements
Must have
- A green environmentally friendly slant.
Nice to have
- Ideally a picture should communicate what the company does, which is paint protecting a roof against the heat of the sun or sun's rays. Along this line I have provided some very rough ideas for the picture showing the reflection of a hot ray off a cool surface. Use these rough guides for ideas and colours. I am relying on your graphic design skills to make this look great. :)
Also the term energystar is known in Australia for energy efficient electronic devices, see here: http://www.energystar.gov.au/
Whilst we can not use their logo, perhaps the aqua blue colour (Hex:00B0F0 RGB:0.176.240) could be incorporated somehow.
Also using a green in the logo would probably help communicate the environmentally friendly nature of the product. As such I prefer a lighter eco green such as (Hex: 81E930 RGB 129.233.48).
