Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for an organization called Serena. Serena teaches the Sympto-Thermal Method: a fertility awareness system that allows a couple to determine how to achieve or avoid pregnancy. (The woman tracks signals from her body. Each day she charts/records these signs. From these signs she can see when her body is in it’s fertile and non fertile state. Allowing her to avoid or achieve pregnancy without the use of contraceptives.)

Target demographic (20 - 30): Both men and woman.
They are a data driven yet personal company.
Portray feelings of cutting edge, innovative, professional, yet approachable. The theme should communicate trendy (with the times) and credible.
We have compared the brand to start up tech companies.


We have three main themes for the logo.

Stronger marriages and families
(Theme ideas: Relatable, relevant, trendy, relationship focused)

Scientific, medically sound and effective
(Theme ideas: Temperature stick, chart, calendar, check mark)

For all women
Our system helps to achieve or avoid pregnancy after childbirth, after miscarriage, and approaching menopause.
