Logo Design Brief

Our business name is Christ Church Dingley, though we only want the letters ‘CCD’ in the logo. We need a new vibrant logo that communicates visually that we are a Christian church (a cross may be the best way of communicating this), but also that we are a friendly, welcoming and relevant community for anyone and everyone.

The logo needs to be suitable for people of all ages and cultures, but specifically be appealing to families, though not to the exclusion of others.
The logo should include colour, but no more than 3 (or 4 at the extreme) colours including black (if used). Gradients may be used. The logo should not rely on the colour however, and must look acceptable when printed in grayscale.

The logo should be something that will not date easily. Too modern will date easily, and too historical or classic will not have the vibrancy we desire. A letter logo would most likely be best; the letter decoration should probably be limited to one of the three letters, but can be used on more, if not repeating the same decoration.

Only vector designs should be submitted. No designs should include a background.
