Logo Design Brief

We are establishing a new videography/cinematography company in Hawaii which will primarily cater to both local and destination weddings. We will also provide video services for other purposes such as private and corporate events, promotional, commercial, etc. Our company vision is:
"Just like the beautiful pieces of driftwood that can be found among Hawaii’s beaches, each story we tell is unique and intricately detailed."

Although we are based in Hawaii, we don't want the logo to be centered around that. Some type of Hawaii element is fine, but not to be the central focus.

Requirements

Must have

• The logo should have a combination of text and some type of illustration or symbol.
• The text and the illustration should be visually simplistic. Despite the company description, there should not be too much intricacy in the design. We'd like a logo that will be very easy to remember like the swoosh or chevrons, but representative of film & photo, the company name and/or Hawaii. And any illustration element should include a piece or pieces of driftwood.

Nice to have

• One direction we were contemplating for the logo is a more organic or natural feel to it. Possibly designed in earth tones. Though this was just one idea we had and not necessarily the required direction for the final design.
