However i do have some concerns in regards to the project scope vs budget.

Can you please clarify the scope? usually desgncrowd is about design project although when granted the budget it can include development.
That said, and being straightforward, you appropriate for custom design of the homepage only.

So the question is, can you clarify if you are expecting development?
If you are expecting development i am available to discuss the best solution (which is not wordpress by the way) to make the most of your website.

I am not very sure how to answer your question as I am relatively new to this whole designcrowd thing.

For this project, I am looking for a wordpress design that I can use to replace the existing design we already have.
Our site should be able to support 2 elements, which is business information as well as a blog/social media.

We definitely want to keep to Wordpress as we are keen on managing content ourselves.
