Logo Design Brief

We are a newly created group of International Rum Judges called, "International Rum Council." Yes, that job does exist! We are better at drinking rum than we are at designing logos. That's where you come in. We are looking for someone who is as passionate and knowledgeable about design as we are about Rums of the World.

Rum is fun, so are we. That said we are a professional group of accomplished people. We seek a clean logo including name and an identifiable illustration. More importantly we DO NOT want cliché's. No bottles, pirates, no pirate style fonts, no barrels or cocktail glasses, no caribbean island at sunset with a palm tree. Challenging? Yes! That's why we need you.

The logo will be used on our website, on breast sized stitching for shirts, for business cards as well as collateral and event banners. We need something that scales nicely as has plenty of white space. Please don't make it too busy. We also need file as a vector please.
