Logo Design Brief
I'm looking for a logo design for my virtual assisting service, Trusty Sidekick. I provide administrative services to consultants and other independent professionals - I handle scheduling, interface with clients, maintain a CRM, manage social media, and I've even been known to run an errand or two! My primary client is an executive coach who runs a consultancy; I'm looking for a few more clients in LA and San Francisco.
I'll be using this logo on my website, advertising materials such as one-sheets and price/package listings, business cards, etc.
The final design should impart whimsy, a quirky sense of humor, AND professionalism and efficiency as an assistant. This is a relatively elite service, but I want to work with people who are doing great things for the world and have relaxed, funny personalities.
Below I've attached a document containing my website spiel, called "Sidekick Blurb" - it's short, so please take a look at it for more info!

In the submissions I've been receiving, I haven't seen any fonts that I totally LOVE. I did a bit more research, and have a bit more guidance for you.

Requirements
Must have
- Use the "sidekick" concept - a mature and simple take on the name.
Nice to have
- An avatar that looks something like me - see the reference images below. We've toyed with the idea of my superpower being the ability to replicate myself.
(For the concept of what I mean by avatar, I had been considering Heroized branding: http://heroized.com/_media/images/directory/big/energica.png)
I love the color purple.
Might be cool to play with different eras of design? I don't know. You're the professionals!
Should not have
- If you make an avatar, don't emphasize the hair - it changes a lot. (It's currently purple.)
Traditional-feeling logos need not apply.
Nothing gimmicky. Should not feel like a children's cartoon or clip art.
Logos I don't like:
Too difficult to read-storage.designcrowd.com/design_img/74980/22899/22899_1289056_74980_image.png
Typography is too modern- storage.designcrowd.com/design_img/75394/50166/50166_1306636_75394_image.jpg
Logo is too generic-http://storage.designcrowd.com/design_img/75394/22802/22802_1305654_75394_image.jpg
