Thank you for all your submissions. We appreciate your time and talent. While some of the designs are good, we don't feel that any exactly match our brand, and we welcome new submissions.

Please review our original design request. The main problems with the submissions so far is that they are not bold enough. Again, this should be eye-catching to college students. Comments on individual submissions are below.  


easycoolguy - Clearly you have design talent, but your submission seems better suited to an insurance company than a college book trading service.

blank brain design - I like the Web 2.0 feel you went for here, but it doesn't seem bold or youthful enough.

angela hall - Also not bold enough. Might be good for a middle aged ladies book club.

bluejet - One of our top 2 selections, but we feel it could be improved and bolder.

tong - One of our top 2 selections, if you just use the bottom half of your old submission and be sure to include "TradeThisBook" or "TradeThisBook.com"

hypertime studio - I like the simplicity and the web 2.0 feel, but again not bold or youthful enough.

aerowyn - Also an excellent submission, like the simplicity. This incorporated our favorite typeface of all the submissions. Might be better if you included a book in the design.

Target Market(s)

We want our logo to be eye-catching to college students, so probably hip and bold with bright colors. Our main competitors are Chegg, Amazon and university bookstores.

  • The logo must include either the words "TradeThisBook" or "TradeThisBook.com," whichever works best with the design. The logo should not be close in color to Chegg or Amazon's logos. Please make sure the background is either transparent or in layers. The logo should convey that we're a hip and easy-to-use service, but also one that is quick and professional and competitive with the big textbook services.
