Logo Design Brief

New company based in Edinburgh, initially concentrating on buying, renovating and selling property. Offering a complete solution to the first time buyer. Properties will be marketed as show homes, with furniture to create a lifestyle. Logo needs to be all encompassing, as company grows to hopefully include buying, renovating and renting for international investors.
Would like logo to have simplistic lines. Had idea of contemporary standard lamp, shining warm gold light ray over a simple, but comfortable looking armchair or over the company name
