Logo Design Brief

I have and must keep my basic logo but I'm interested in doing something around it to make it more eye catching and memorable. An example I like is from my colleague in Denver who created a character to accompany the logo (see at link below). I'm not requiring a character though I do like that concept. I also would like to avoid adding new colors which will increase printing costs.

Nice to have

• I do like the idea of a "medic" such as the one used at www.http://groutmedicdenver.com. I think this catches the eye and is more memorable than the logo on its own.

Should not have

• I must retain the basic logo in the final design.
