Logo Design Brief

My husband and I are starting a chiropractic and sports medicine clinic in Ankeny, IA. We are looking to begin building our brand. With that said, we need a catchy, modern, active looking, unique, bold, and versatile logo that represents health, activity, and movement. Our color scheme we would like to use is bright red, black, and charcoal gray. We like the idea of making the '2' in Designed 2 Move a little runner man or something that represents activity/chiropractic that can be extracted to be a stand alone symbol of our brand. Overall, we want to be seen as new/edgy and not the old style chiropractic that many people think of when they think of chiropractors. Here is our mission statement if it helps:

"Designed 2 Move, LLC chooses to combine research based approaches to patient care to give full service treatment, helping patients exceed their healthcare goals and improve their quality of life. This includes the combination of chiropractic manipulation, myofascial release, active rehabilitation, and nutritional guidance. Our open communication and attentive listening provides a patient centered, friendly atmosphere not only for our patients but our employees and community. We strive to be a picture of integrity and honesty as we become an icon in the community. Our goal is to bring the community a different experience of chiropractic care, one that is all inclusive of the patient’s healthcare needs and that operates with the highest integrity."

We need a logo that is of multiple file types and multiple layers so that we can manipulate it if need be in the future. Example, application for vinyl signage, business card, metal word art for indoors of the office, stationary, t-shirts/hats, easy to place into a powerpoint or word document, etc.

In the end, we want it to scream sports and activity, yet clean and simple. Also, our tagline is "...because EVERYONE is an athlete!" It would be nice for this to be an option to be on or off depending on where we are putting the logo. Also, make the "LLC" very very small and removable.

We have attached a logo that we made in Word but please go wild with whatever creativity you have, we are obviously not graphic artists. Also, the little degree sign on the 2 was supposed to be a head on a runner. Again, this is very rough of the general idea of what we were going for but is not set in stone. Also, we are attaching some other files of logos that we like the color scheme or design characteristics of, so feel free to use those as inspiration. The purple logo we like for it's cleanness but not the purple. There is one logo with aqua, green, and charcoal that we like the color scheme of as well, so utilize that for some of your ideas please.

Requirements

Must have

• The LLC must be very small and hardly visible. It is only a legality, we don't want it to be very visible. The number "2" in Designed 2 Move should double as our logo and a visible number 2 within the name.

Nice to have

• "D2M" abbreviation for the business to be an additional option.

Should not have

• A logo that is feminine or curvy rather it should be edgy like a gym logo.
