Logo Design Brief

Solo practitioner law firm specializing in personal injury work. To separate me from other Bill Thompsons who practice law in the area and avoid confusion, I use my full name in my firm's name: William deForest Thompson, Jr. LLC. I would like to design a logo around my initials.

Requirements

Must have

• Simplicity. I started myself by using my initials - 'wdeft' - in lower case, arial black script font. I like the idea of that plain but I'd like to have other details to consider, like a watermark or other very simple additions to make it distinctive. The goal is to keep it simple and not busy. In the past, I have used my signature 'T' in prior logo I used as you can see from the business card I attached. Since there are no other lawyers in the Firm, I would like to have a logo design that I can use on personal cards and stationery as well. I am not opposed to color but, again, would like to keep things simple and not busy.
