I've just submitted 3 logo designs and because the briefing is so short I wasn't sure if the logo text should be just the word Emerge or if I could just add something, so I can do changes in the logo text.

In addition to the word "Emerge!",I would like some type of graphic or design. The seminars and conferences that my company will provide are designed to help people transition from their current state or position to something greater. Someone suggested a logo such as a monarch butterfly emerging from a cocoon--however that is too cliche-ish and too predictable. I am looking for something that can capture the idea in a new, fresh way.

Just let me know if I'm in the right direction to what you want with the 3 logos I've just submitted.
Obviously I would have to change the words that come with the logo, and ad the exclamation mark.
