Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a company I just started that sells, services and installs solar renewable energy systems. We deal with solar thermo hot water for pools and homes as well as photovoltic (PV) systems. Maybe something with Texas, but not a must. A sunrise is also part of the logo design. We are a renewable energy company helping save natural resources here on earth by using free energy from the most incredible energy source we have, the sun.
Would like it to look high tech, modern, futuristic perhaps.
