I might give this a shot, but I need to know a few things first. When you say icon, are you looking for something which will double as a logo? or do you already have a logo? If you already have a logo then could you please attach it? It may make sense to rework a logo for the notifications bar icon or splash screen. Secondly, is the splash screen you are looking for going to double as a loading screen, or will they be separated? And, finally, would you like the splash screen to be animatable, or static? For instance, if you would like it to double as a loading screen then I could implement a series of images which could be animated into a loading icon. Or if you wanted the splash screen to have a bit more purpose and functionality, I could design it in a manner where the user could scroll side-to-side to learn more (since you said you want the splash screen to show a bit about the app), and then just have a 'continue' button which could be pressed when they're ready to enter. I'd be happy to attempt any of these ideas or any others that you have, I just wanted to run these concepts by you seeing as they would require a bit more coding. I'd also like to confirm that you're asking for 3 different items; a monochrome, simplified icon for the notification bar; a home-screen icon (in the varying sizes provided); and a splash screen, correct? 1. We do not have a logo unfortunately. It can double as a logo.
2. We were planning to use it as a loading screen.
3. It doesn't matter if splash screen is animatable or static.
4. Splash screen having a little functionality (showing "what is what" for example) is a good idea. I like that!
