I need a logo for a new Facilitation Company. We are based out of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada. We are a Northern company that is national in scope. (Yellowknife is in the sub-arctic)
We do facilitation work which includes Workshop/meeting design and delivery, Team Building and Team Agreements, Strategic Planning, Public Consultation and Engagement, and Conference Facilitation/Moderation/MC.
Currently I am using a Compass Rose as my logo (attached), which I am finding to be a bit common. Currently I am operating under the name Northplan Consulting, but changing it to Northplan Facilitation to better reflect what I do.
When people ask me, "what is facilitation"? I tell them it is about managing group dynamics or managing a group conversation.
A standard image I have used on my business cards etc. is also attached. It stands out and the colour is eye catching. I have had a lot of positive feedback on it. This image is typically used to fill my entire business card (attached). It would be good if a logo could work with this.
I would like a logo that shows the company name, or have two options with 1) a stand alone logo and 2) with the logo and name.
I have used the motto, "Helping you move in the right direction" - this does not have to be incorporated, but something I have been toying with.
We are national in scope in that I have numerous facilitators I sub-contract to who can travel wherever we are needed. We are a northern based company, in that there is special consideration to giving contracts to Northern businesses who live and operate in the North. Thus reflecting that Northern environment is an important thing (which may be captured in the name itself).
