Also would be wary of using the monogram 'GFG' would double check with people that it is clearly not, from any angle or distance readable as 'GFC'.

Thanks for the feedback, I have thought about the closeness of GFC to GFG. I have thought about just focusing on the G in Gibson as a symbol rather than GFG. Would welcome your suggestions.

In terms of a current logo, we don't have one - brand new company.

I must also ask, is the new company truly a 'group' or is that there because it sounds better?
I ask because in practice, shorter names are always better and there will be no need to add 'group' for grandeur when the logo and the branding can do that for you. If it could at least be considered then please advise.
