Logo Design Brief

I need a logo designed for the re-launch of the http://dirtbike.ws/ website, which will be re-launched as http://mydirtbike.com/

The site will be changing quite a bit as part of this process, with more "social" networking links being added and it being re-worked to take advantage of facebook, twitter and more.

I'd like to have a character that can represent the site, and in the future be put onto t-shirts etc.

Maybe a male rider standing in front of a bike with an aggressive stance (in a cartoony style).

Example stance - http://img466.imageshack.us/img466/7972/topgearstigly0.jpg - obviously, thats a tractor, not a dirtbike.

Example dirtbike - http://www.customdecals.com.au/images/bikes/ktm-450-exc-g-racing-dirt-bike.jpg

Sort of in the style of the logo used by comicvine or the animevice whiskey media sites - http://www.whiskeymedia.com/ would be good.

Not sure if the .com should be in the logo text or not.
