Poster Design Brief

We need to update our poster for the burlesque-event Midnight Burlesque in Norway (more than 800 guests).

After using different designers we still love the old one (http://midnightburlesque.no/wp-content/gallery/plakaterposters/2163769686_33c4d2680b_o.jpg) but it's very 2008.

We want to update this poster to 2013 but still keep the retro/vintage feeling, expression and main design.

We also would like to use the Crescent Moon as a "signature" for the poster. (Very sorry for saying this 4 hours after posting this job)

Size: 50x70cm will be the primary size

We're open to suggestion to any brilliant suggestion.

PS! We're a group of friends that arrange this event

Nice to have

• We also would like to use the Crescent Moon as a "signature" for the poster. Since we also have absinth as an underlying theme, the colour green (absinth-green) would be prefered.
  
  I do not know if a crescent moon and green is at all possible, but we are open for suggestion.
