Can you send a brief and discrete synopsis of the book/story. For those of us that have not had the privilege of reading the first book in the saga? - Reasoning for this request, at least for some of us, what we "in-vision" when it comes to the design/layout of a project... usually comes from the background or story-line can help greatly for the feel when creating a design. Unless, your just looking for your basic "run of the mill", Human/Wolf, with the basic stereotyping icons, etc. However, if you feel that displaying the synopsis could damage the mystery of the book, please feel free to just say so as well.

Thanks,
LogiNc

I did post a bit of a synopsis in the project description but can give you some more detailed information...

Our main character is Roland, the beta of our story (second in command to a pack of werewolves); he was betrayed long ago and left with physical scars - most noteable is a long scar on the left side of his face. He's definitely a sort of damaged hero, fiercely loyal but also a bit vulnerable.

Natasha is our heroine - also betrayed, left for dead and cut from her pack (not the same pack as Roland). One main distinguishing feature of her is long, red curly hair. Her father is the bad guy in this story.

The pack lives in the Cascade Mountains near a lake called Wolf Lake which is why the first cover was set in a mountain/lake setting. The pack has incorporated some modern technology into their lives but they definitely live a sort of remote existence...

If you haven't already, definitely take a look at the first cover. I think the artist did a great job of incorporated a numbe rof elements including the cross between human and animal.

Please let me know if you would like more information.

Hello there; do you have any information for us as to who the woman on the first issue's cover is? Or would you rather us use someone new/no woman at all for the second one?

by Project Owner on Wednesday, December 12, 2012

The woman on the first cover represents the main character in the first book. I would prefer you use something different for the second book. The main character of the second book is male.

Questions:
1. Where you happy with the look of the first novella?
2. If not why?
3. If yes, why would you not use the services of the original designer?
4. Is your aim to have a cohesive look for the series?
5. If the precedent for look and feel has been established in 1st novella, do you want to continue with this look?
These are important considerations for me in order to achieve your request.
Thank you for continued clarity.
G.

1. Yes
2. NA
3. The original designer has been asked to submit a design as well.
4. Yes - as stated in the description, the second cover should compliment the first but be different enough to stand alone.
5. Yes.

Hello,

I'd like to know whether the male protagonist of the second book uses any form of weapon whilst fighting. If not, does he have any special attribute to distinguish him from other character (such as the thunderbolt to represent Zeus or the trident to represent Poseidon)?

Also, it would also be helpful if you mention the name of the font used for the title and series of the first book. Exact fonts will give the impression that this book is the second part of the series.

No, he does not use any special weapons.

As for the font, I will try and get the name of it - I definitely agree that the same font is ideal.

Thank you for your speedy response. If the hero is weaponless, could you enlighten me regarding any feature in his appearance that can be used to distinguish him from other werewolves (e.g. tattoo, scar, certain hair style or eye color, amputated limb, etc.)?

He has a jaggad scar that runs from his temple to his chin on the left side of his face.
