Logo Design Brief

We need a logo designed for our new online retail store. Our business name is "Moonshiners Mercantile" We sell cool music tshirts ie Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson etc. We also sell retro tin signs and home made home wares/artwork etc. We would like something to revolve around the image of a deer in front of a mystical looking moon, pictures have been attached. We would like 2 versions of the design sent through so we can decide if we would like to continue with the idea of the deer in the logo or not. The second idea we have is similar to a picture we have attached "the maven mercantile" instead of just a circle we would like this to be the moon, white moon with black font. I like the arrow in this design and the "est since". I'm tending more to be in favor of this direction then the deer direction but my business partner would like a deer design sent through. Logo should be black and white but grab peoples attention. The final design should communicate the rustic, almost hillbilly vibe we have.
