Logo Design Brief

About Us
We need a logo for our company, SavinGreen. We are a conscious corporation built for the conscious consumer. Our tag line is "A Conscious Business Designed For The Conscious Consumer". Our company is a conglomerate that provides utilities [telecom, electricity, gas and LED light bulbs] and several other connected services.

We are also the number one planter of new trees in Australia through Carbon Neutral. Every time a customer signs up for our services, a tree is planted in their name.

In your design, we have a few things we’d like you to keep in mind…

1. We don't want the typical green company logo, we do plant trees but our emphasis is in attracting "The Conscious Consumer".
2. The logo must be able to go across all mediums, website, stationary, business cards, etc.
3. A sample of the old logo is attached. We are not tied to the green and blue colours and would like to see some ingenuity not typical cut and paste designs.
4. We know our customer, the conscious consumer is someone who wants to save money and be looked after by the companies they choose to do business with. They choose the companies they buy from based on the Company philosophy of caring not solely about their shareholders and profits but their stakeholders and their triple bottom line (social/ environmental/ financial). They are not bargain hunters, but have a sense of individualism and like to believe they made the decision. They know what they want and understand that they can make a bigger difference by choosing how they spend their money. Once they make a choice, they stay loyal as long as they feel appreciated. We need a logo that says we are established and committed and the right choice for our customers.

Some Colour Preferences
Orange- The colour psychology of orange is optimistic and uplifting, rejuvenating our spirit.

Red- Being the colour of physical movement, the colour red awakens our physical life force. It is the colour of sexuality and can stimulate deeper and more intimate passions in us, such as love and sex on the positive side

Yellow- Yellow is the best colour to create enthusiasm for life and can awaken greater confidence and optimism.

Turquoise- This is a colour that recharges our spirits during times of mental stress and tiredness, alleviating feelings of loneliness.

Brown- The colour brown relates to quality in everything - a comfortable home, the best food and drink and loyal companionship. It is a colour of physical comfort, simplicity and quality.

Blue- This is a colour that seeks peace and tranquillity above everything else, promoting both physical and mental relaxation.

Grey- Grey conforms - it is conventional, dependable and practical. It is a colour of maturity and responsibility.

Green- Green is a colour that has a strong sense of right or wrong, inviting good judgment. It sees both sides of the equation, weighs them up, and then usually takes the moral stand in making appropriate decisions.
