Logo Design Brief

Hello. We would like to buy a logo for our Denver, CO startup. The name of the company is "Tier 1 Building Services", and we will primarily be providing contracting services to government facilities. As the logo will be used on company vehicles, t-shirts, and especially on company letterhead for contract bids, the logo should be relatively simple and professional. If I had to pick 2 words to describe what I'm looking for, they would be "Modern", "Professional" and "Blue" :)

- I would like (2) lines of text:
"Tier 1"
"Building Services"

- The color scheme should be light/dark blue (or vis-a-vis) on a white background
- Some type of "swoosh" around, through etc. "Tier 1" with "Building Services" typed beneath
- Perhaps some type of italics and cool (but clearly legible) font for "Tier 1" and basic font for "Building Services"
- I'm generally not thinking I would like any other images or effects in the logo besides the "swoosh" graphic (i.e. shadow etc.) but if you have a rough draft of a cool idea please feel free to share
- I'd like it to be overall rectangular proportions (i.e. the graphic + text fits in a rectangle)

I've attached a couple of images for reference. I generally like the simplicity of the NCIA logo. The color scheme can have a cooler transition of color for your design though. The logo I made is super basic, not proportional, not colored etc., plus it looks like it came from a crackerjack box which is why I'm here of course...but it's just something for a really basic idea.
