Wordpress Design Brief

We have collection of vertical topic portals; in each portal, a post typically is an article which goes with a subject video, following are 5 reference sites:

We obtained most of our based WP theme from various premium WP template membership sites, subsequently re-organise, mash-up content to produce sites as above; however we start to be constraint as we get into a fixed pattern of laying out our contents and we seeking professional help to re-work this. these re-work can includes as follows.

1. proposal on creative re-placement of component / re-layout on the templates. Should also suggest different way for the advertising banner placement etc.

2. proposal on right and appropriate use of WP plugins (paid or free but have to be secured and reliable) to achieve more relevant add-on of content where necessary (rss, etc)


Objective:
We want to move away from our internal team design constraint and also moving alway from being stuck with certain stereo-type way of WP content site. However the proposed WP design should still be a portal-centric type vs blogging/product-centric.

Deliverables:
1. We don't need the actual cut template but a design mockup of the home page and relevant sub pages (.psd, jpg etc) for the proposed re-design. Based on the above 5 listed sites, the deliverable would be at least 10 pages of design layout work (considering home page and 1 sub pages for each domain; could be more if necessary)

2. The plugins reference where necessary

What's expected from your proposal for the bid:
We would like a mockup of a re-design from any pick from any of the above 5 domains
