Magazine Design Brief

We need a creative and innovative digital magazine template for a new company called Inspired Investing with the tagline: Health * Wealth * Happiness. This initial magazine mock up will be used to sell advertising space in preparation for our launch in December.

Inspired Investing magazine is focused on providing women (aged between 30-45, who have a young family) property investing and business advice, inspiring stories, travel, health & fashion, and will need to cater space for advertising as well.

There is a stigma around investing about being corporate, stuffy and un-fun! We are breaking this mould and are looking to create a fun, feminine, community & supportive brand and want to stand out in a boring industry! So please stay away from anything traditional real estate or financial planning, and go for something fun, colourful and exciting, modern and personable.

For the Logo we would like Inspired to be in a texta style freehand text, and investing in a lowercase text such as arial (as an example only)

Here are a few requirements and more information:
• Magazine template needs to be a replicated copy of the link above (52 pages) in a format that is easily edited (text, images, advertising space)
• The theme of the magazine should be fun, feminine, fashion and inspiring and catering towards property investing and business women
• The page layout is flexible and really up to you but here are suggestions for content:
Information about up & coming events, a few articles about property investing, articles about business trends, some human interest stories, interviews with some successful property investors and business owners, articles about charity fundraising, fashion segment etc.

We don’t expect you to write anything just have the layout able to accommodate these types of stories. Anything else that you can come up with to showcase the event in the magazine design is great, we do not have a fixed requirement when it comes to the page layout so it is really up to you. The main thing we are looking for is a great professional magazine design.
• The word count per page should be maximum 200-300 words
• The template needs to flow and look like a unified magazine.
• Please just use sample images
• Use Latin or sample placeholder text.
• We don’t have a specific page layout in this brief and will leave it up to the designer to make the magazine flow. We don’t want every page to be repetitive, the design needs to be interesting to read but still look cohesive.
• There will be advertising in the magazine (see the example magazine provided.
• Overall we are looking for an experienced magazine designer who has the creativity to come up with something that looks slick within these requirements.
• We are a monthly magazine and are looking for someone who has the creativity to be able to construct our magazine on a monthly basis so please put your best foot forward!
