I’m forming a new law firm in Tallahassee, Florida that will be called “Eric S. Haug & Associates, P.A.”. The firm will provide lobbying services to state and local government, as well as traditional law firm functions specializing in the following areas:
1. Business law
2. Estate planning (Wills, trusts, etc.)
3. Commercial contract law
4. Trademark and copyright
5. Real estate sales, purchases and leases
6. General civil litigation
The logo needs to convey professionalism and experience. It should be somewhat traditional (conservative) and not be too complex looking. The name “Eric S. Haug & Associates, P.A.”, should be the predominate focus of the logo. Use your creativity with colors but in keeping with the professional look, I would consider use of Navy, Brown, Tan, Silver, Charcoal, Gold or of course Black and White.
Tallahassee is in north Florida and is the state capital.
I look forward to a wide array of ideas and please let me know if you have any questions.

Requirements
Must have
- I will be using the logo on my website, emails, letterhead, business cards and other business documents. There should be sufficient contrast so that black and white copies will be readable and contain the primary design elements of the logo.
Should not have
- Tallahassee is known for its numerous oak trees which are often used in design elements of logos (and because that is so common please do NOT use trees or leaves as elements of your design). I also do NOT want other commonly used symbols for law firms: the scales of justice, blindfolded lady, gavel, etc.
