Updates

Firstly, thank you to everyone who has submitted a design so far. Every design incorporates elements of what we are looking for but we are yet to find that one design that really captures what we are after. To that end here are a few more points that may help: - We are looking for a simple design (think apple, nike, Volks Wagen etc...) - The basis of the Logo is 5WH but the letters do not have to be in it - We are a professional, corporate identity and want a logo that reflects that, as such we are hoping to avoid cliches such as magnifying glasses, locks, keys etc unless they are very subtly integrated into the design (think the Windows logo)

As the key design fault is the choice of font, at the request of a number of designers I have added an attachment that shows the types of fonts we are looking for. Don't think the numeral has to be the same font as the text, we are more concerned that the font is striking and somewhat unique, not just the run of the mill arial, helvetica, times new roman etc.... The designs we have been most impressed by include unique approaches incorporating bold graphics and font. Thank you all for the great submissions this far, we really look forward to seeing what else you have to offer, the standard has been great.

Hi Folks, As promised we have upped the prize money due to the high quality responses. For those who have already submitted work please look at resubmitting using font styles similar to those provided (please check out the powerpoint file which has a better version of the fonts previously loaded), especially if the only concerns we had were your fonts. Again, we can't stress how important it is for this logo to be simple, bold and professional... Personally, I want it to scream "These guys are the best investigation and security consultants in the market... just look at that great logo!!"

As we are half way through the competition we have decided to eliminate a number of designs. The eliminated designs will be chosen based on the fact that we have a high number of designs that have been chosen by our team as being the most compatible with our vision. Please do not take the elimination of your design personally, we have been extremely impressed by the quality of the designs provided. For those designers who no longer have a design in the competition we encourage you to take a new approach and submit some new designs. For those designers who still have designs in the competition we strongly encourage you to submit alternate or revised versions of those designs which are still in as the competition is extremely close at the moment. Hi Everyone, We are down to the wire so we will be cutting down the designs to our final five. If you have a new or amended design it must be submitted in the next 36 hours to be in with a chance. We will provide feedback on the remaining five designs, for those of you who have been eliminated we would like to thank you for your contributions. The standard has been exceptionally high across the board and, once again, we are picking the designs we feel are best for us... not necessarily the best design, there are certainly some there that we would be choosing if our circumstances were different. In addition we have recorded the names of all of the designers who have submitted work so that if we decide to look at other avenues, such as business cards, stationery or website design we will send out an invite to you straight away. Hi all, First off... Once again we must say thank you to all the fantastic designers and compliment you all on your work, we have had over a hundred designs submitted and the quality and creativity have been superb. Unfortunately in this particular competition there can be only one winner. We will be making our decision within the next 24 hours, this is your last chance to impress us with any new designs or to submit any changes we have requested. As we can only judge what is in front of us, we can't make exceptions if you fail to provide us the designs if you said you were going to submit a new design or if you have not made changes we requested... Please don't miss the opportunity. Due to the high levels of work we will not make a final decision until the last possible minute but we will be narrowing it down to our currently preferred five designs over the next few hours. We are happy for you to submit new designs and every design will be judged on it's own merit. Please do not take elimination of a design as a reflection of the quality of your work, the standard has been exceptionally high and the decisions are based on what is best for our brand. While each of the team have personal favourites, a number of those will not make the final three only because as a team we have selected other designs. Pleas note that we may eliminate mock ups of business cards or other items... this does not mean that we don't want to see them, we are just brining it down to the actual five designs. Wow... talk about saving the best until last!! A couple of big curve balls have landed in our lap and we are scrambling to see what way to go... there are now three clear leaders in this competition. Like we have said before, we will look at everything up until the last minute but it is getting harder and harder. Well done everyone.

Hi Folks, Well this is it... we are down to our final elimination before the decision is made. After very carful and often heated consideration we have narrowed the choices down to two designers and two designs. those two designers have been given our final requests and will have the opportunity to submit their last variations of the design to see who walks away with the final prize. To everyone else we would like to say thank you. Your designs have been brilliant and unfortunately the competition has been fierce, the two finalists have managed to produce designs that we feel will best suit our company. To free you up to concentrate on other designs and so we don't waste your time or give you false hope, we request that if you are eliminated during this round that you do not submit any further designs.
