Logo Design Brief
Searchlight Direct Contact (referred to as "Searchlight" or "SDC") is a Brooklyn-based consulting firm specializing in what's known as "field" work for political and issue campaigns -- door knocking, phone calling, data, and digital strategy.
We'd like to anchor the logo with the image focusing on the initialism SDC (though we'd like to see some pitches that have "Searchlight" as well). The logo should allude to the data-based way we conduct our work, and should look modern and minimalist.

Hey everyone,
Please make sure you've read the brief and any updates to it. We're getting a lot of designs that are missing that unique flavor to them -- if I just wanted a logo with a neat typeface, I could do that myself in Photoshop.
