Logo Design Brief
We are setting up a new company that produces specialist equipment and fashion for the equestrian industry (English stream of riding, not Western). The company is called 'MF Equestrian', and this would form the main brand that can house specialist sub-brands over time. We would like to see a purely typographic logo, although it will be a bonus if one can subtly depict a part of the horse (e.g. mane, neck, tail) or saddlery (e.g. saddle, the bit, etc) incorporated into the letters. The design to communicate: 1. Bold and Sophisticated; 2. Modern with a hint of past era flair; and 3. Easily identified/recognised. Colour used to reflect the above criteria.

2. Modern twist on the classical (although cursive/handwritten font comes foremost in the mind, we are very open to a more modern font).
3. Easily identified.
Must have a horse/saddlery silhouette design somewhere in the logo.
Nice to have
- Not run of the mill horse/saddlery silhouette - custom made to the project.
If it can be integrated nicely as part of the font, it will be a bonus.
Should not have
- Horse silhouette with flying manes.
Horse silhouette that looks like Trojan Horse/Chess piece.
