Logo Design Brief

hi,

We need a logo for a convertible cot bed, which turns from a cot bed (140x70cm) with integrated changing table and lots of storage into a single bed (190x90cm) with bedside table and lots of storage. The bed never exceeds standard single bed measures at the outside (including the integrated changing table/storage/large bottom-drawer fitting another 140x70cm bed for guests (kids)). It's a cool design and made of high-quality woods, manufactured in Austria. The design resembles a bit swedish designs. (see some pictures at www.theconvertiblecompany.com; scroll down to the very bottom of the landing page of the temporary website, which we are currently re-building; please also note on the website, that we won't use the name of the bed "Flo Flo" as a brand! The Convertible Company should be the brand).

The cot bed with all its features is very practical and addresses first-time moms, middle/higher income families/moms. It is actually a "compact nursery" which then transforms into a full-sized single bed. So, its a space saver, and also somehow a money saver (but we don't address the low end of the market, but middle/higher income).

The logo design should represent safety, design and a clever space-saving solution ideal for smaller rooms (like in flats in London). The colours we like are nice green (it is neutral for boy or girl and it perhaps is a colour for wood/health/safety/etc.)

The company name is: "The Convertible Company".

The company is registered in London. The product is manufactured in Austria. It is a start up. The first market we enter is the UK market, later we also want to bring the product into the German market and other continental European countries etc.
