Logo Design Brief
Advanced CEMS is a instrument provider to industry that meets the requirements of the United States Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) air emissions monitoring regulations. In short, the EPA requires that instruments continuously monitor whats going up the stacks in coal fired power plants, paper mills, steel mills, refineries, etc. Advanded CEMS sells these very sophisticated instruments and we also service them. We've been around several years but due to recent confustion in the marketplace with one of our competitors we made the decision to rebrand our company.
I need a logo design that incorporates our full name and a graphic of a molecule to symbolize that we provide everything to measure these regulated pollutants. I propose a graphic of a molecule to the left of the text “ADVANCED CEMS” and a small tagline underneath in smaller font that reads "Emissions Monitoring Solutions". I want to creatively use our existing blue color in this new logo so that we have some continuity with the old logo. The blue is CMYK 100,91,39,42. We will use this logo on our web site, in print as sales brochures, on tradeshow display, on tradeshow give-aways like pens, and also company shirts with embroidered logo. The logo should be modern looking to represent the high tech instruments that we sell and service.

Must have
- Graphic of molecule is required in the logo. Symetric molecule like Ammonia would work well but you are not limited to Ammonia molecule. The molecule graphic should be 3D represented with common use of spheres (atoms) connected to each other with cylinders (bond between the atoms). Use our blue mentioned above to color the molecule. Gradiation on the spheres would be a nice touch.
