The business provides college and career guidance to high school students based on a new theory of testing that incorporates personal motivators, skill areas and the lifestyle environment strive for. Basically, we know a lot of adults that ended up in completely different careers then they started in. This product helps students get on a path that aligns with who they are at the core, so that where they start is where they want to end up.
The logo should feel powerful because you're using your energy to change something huge in your life. It's a big deal, it's full of fuel, it's moving forward, forward momentum that can't be stopped when it's set in motion. A big boost to your life and future.
I see something that is an abstract version of movement (rocketing, trajectory etc). We did some initial designs that were literally of a rocket, but we are looking for something simple and modern with few lines. We think of most of our target audience as being part of the "Apple generation" and that they expect the clean, smart design that Mac is so well known for.
This logo will be used on business cards, the website and the testing forms.

I attached an example of the logo we are using now as an interm logo (business card attached). We want a logo that can stand on its own even without words.
