Logo Design Brief
We need a logo design for a new company based in Iowa City, IA called Hawk Nation. We design unique Iowa Hawkeye Apparel for tailgating events, as well as designs for bar crawls, student organizations, etc. We would like to see designs that use the colors black and yellow (or gold) to match the University's colors. The final design should communicate that due to our apparel, we can come together as one, "Hawk Nation."

I am extending the date to submit the designs. The reason is that I did my own research and found some pictures, designs, quotes, etc. that might help with coming up with the perfect design. Thanks for all of the designs already submitted, they all look fantastic.

I also thought it would be neat to do a short saying/quote under the logo, or within the logo (doesn't matter). But an idea came to mind. The saying "Dream Big" and have the word Big look like the attached photo of the black and blue B1G, but in Iowa Hawkeye colors. Not too sure if that makes sense, but hopefully for the most of you it does! Thanks!

Reason: We are looking for a design that has the hawk nation on it like before, but a little more girly. The colors of the design can be red, white, and blue; black, yellow, and white; and finally camouflage. The two designs we chose before had more of a masculine take, the cursive handwriting on the 2nd one was a little more girly though.

- I attached 7 photos that show the shirt designs that were the most popular designs last year. I would like to incorporate those designs (front or/and back of the shirts) on the brochure.

- We do make apparel that appeals to the university's reputation of the number 1 party school. So the crowd that usually appeals to us are the students who are more on the social end of the spectrum rather than studious.
